Shiraz, October 2026 — International startup vr-tecture, which builds virtual and augmented reality tools for architecture, interior design and retail, took part in Shiraz Expo 2026 and presented its solutions to architects, designers, developers, retailers and investors. Its participation was backed by Manitoba Technology Accelerator (MTA) in Canada and Phoenix Specialized Accelerator (phoenix.ir) in Iran.
Shiraz Expo 2026, officially the Persian Gulf Export Capabilities Exhibition (Expo 2026), ran from October 11 to 16 at the Shiraz International Exhibition Center and brought together businesses, export-oriented companies and the innovation community. For vr-tecture, it was a chance to share the current product and its international growth plans directly with its audience, alongside its backers.
What does vr-tecture do?
For architects, seeing a space before it’s built has always been a dream. vr-tecture turns that dream into a practical tool: with the vr-tecture platform, architects, designers and home-furnishing retailers recreate a space from floor plans, exterior and interior finishes and furniture details, and let their clients walk through a home, building or room on a phone or a VR headset before making a decision or a purchase.

Manitoba Technology Accelerator is a not-for-profit accelerator in Winnipeg, Canada. Since 2005 it has supported technology startups with mentoring, infrastructure, networking and investment opportunities, helping them turn a good idea into an investable business. MTA’s backing gives vr-tecture an international foundation for growth in Canada and North America.
Phoenix Specialized Accelerator, Iran
Phoenix is a specialized accelerator based in Shiraz that supports a portfolio of technology startups from product development and market understanding to fundraising readiness. At this year’s Shiraz Expo, vr-tecture exhibited alongside other Phoenix startups at the accelerator’s booth in Sarv Hall.
